The bumper skin may be difficult to locate, but the bumper reinforcement is
actually a SLO bumper. Any gen2 bumper will work. The bumper mounts are
also SLO items. The left and right finish panels are gen2 SLO items as
well. You should be able to find everything at just about any yard, except
the bumper skin.

I have already started looking for parts for it. I had purchased a pair of
taillights previous to the accident so those are no problem. The trunk
enclosure itself doesn't appear to be damaged but like I said, the valance
panel is pushed in about 3/4". There is a horizontal crease across the back
wall of the trunk but you can see where the bumper reinforcement was pushed
into the trunk wall and it isn't on the same horizontal plane. We compared
it to another SHO that Doug has and it appears to have the same horizontal
crease. So we're still not positive about what to do there.
I have also instructed all of Yard Men where I work to keep an eye out for
any SHO that comes in and let me know about it, although in the past seven
months I have only seen three.
Nobody else was hurt. An ambulance was originally called but didn't even
stop when they were notified that there were no serious injuries.
Jim

If you really like it, fix it. If the trunk enclosure isn't crushed
any, it
shouldn't be much to do. It probably will get totaled by the
insurance
company....if they want to do that, withdraw the claim, that way you
will avoid a
salvage title. I did that with Lowrider. PnP parts are SO cheap,
compared to
starting out with another car, that isn't the one you like.

Sorry to hear that. Take care of your back and neck....they're the
only ones you
have, and they can't be cut out and rewelded!! ;-)
Was anyone else injured? Did ambulances need to be called? It's
just been that
kind of week, I guess. We've had lots of that sort of thing going
on around here
with all the rain.
Take care of yourselves....
George
