If you want to put them on my car, I shouldn't have to
trim any fenders. :)
Seriously, I imagine that if you stick with something
no larger than 235/45/17 you should be ok with rear
clearance with the 17 x7's. I am running that size on
17x 7.5" rims. You may require minimal trimming at
most. The gen2's seem to have more clearance. I doubt
you'll have problems up front unless you decide to
install coilovers and slam the car to the ground.
