I drive my 94 ATX 106 miles a day, 6 days a week with almost no problems. It has 122k on it and gets 24.5 mpg. I have a second 94 ATX with 126k on it for a spare, but so far haven't needed it. Is this that unusual? Dave
Ron Porter <ronporter@prodigy.net> wrote:"Reliable daily driver" and "Gen 2 SHO" can't really be used in the same
sentence!! Now, for those of you who drive a mile to work, or have someone
that can drive them, this is not an issue. Having to make a flight, or other
time-critical work functions, require an anvil for a daily driver.
Just as Don has come to the point with his '96 that I and others have done a
car that old just isn't solid enough if you (1) Must rely on it every day,
and (2) Don't have the time nor desire to be wrenching on it regularly.
Now that your friend has the '02 F-150, a Gen 2 MTX would be a great 2nd
car!

To bad you didn't list this 1 week ago. A friend of mine has been on the
lookout for a red gen 2 MTX car for a daily driver, but he hit up a dealer
the other day and bought a 2002 F-150 cause he couldn't wait anylonger toi
find a reliable daily driver.
