[Shotimes] connector on the back of the CD plaer/removing the dang thing

Maybe.  Since it was common on a number of Ford vehicles up until a few
years ago it still may be available, but like everything else it probably
carries an absurd price.  There's probably a number of people who've added
the CD and might have saved the plug.  Unfortunately I wasn't one of them.

Looking at the schematic, you might be able to short pin 2 to 3, and pin 5
to 6 to get it to work.
