I believe you, I'm just trying to offer a cheaper alternative. We can always
hope that it is the hoses.

He doesn't know about the Slorider from Hell and the Plus from Hell....!!

The wagon went through 3 or 4 heater cores within a year, near the end of
its
factory warranty period, plus there is the Plus from Hell.....heck, it's
core was
straight from Hell.

The core has to be grounded to the engine, and since the heater is made of
plastic,
that can be hard.  The wagon had (has) a factory defect in that it wasn't
grounded,
and who knows what was wrong with that poor plus.

Hoses can be the fix, but heater cores definitely rot out.   Guaranteed!!!

...especially when they are 10 or 12 years old....
