[Shotimes] Delrin or alum?

Dave,
I came to the same conclusion that you did several years ago
with my '89. I put the aluminum ring type on it, and it was
my daily driver. North-Central Illinois roads, combined
with the removal of most of the compliance from the
suspension made the car seem 20 HARD years older. Yes, the
steering was marginally quicker, but I decided I could
easily compensate for that and I took the solid bushings off.
Now that car is going to be my track car and rarely get out
on the road, so I may put some back in. I sold that set, so
I will be getting some more soon.
Anyone that says there is no difference in ride NVH with the
solid bushings must drive on billiard table smooth roads.
