[Shotimes] Engine tick found...

I was doing some odds and end's on the 94 today and found the ticking
sound I mentioned a week or so ago. As I was looking for a coolant leak,
I noticed that the ticking was now coming from both the front and rear
of the engine! My first thought was 'shit'! I've got a real problem
here! But then I remembered a lister mentioning the IMRC system causing
this sound. So I disconnected the system and as soon as I did, the sound
was gone!

So, my question is how do I make this go away? The vacuum pots aren't
moving that I can see, just making that awful ticking sound when idling?
