Hey all...
I know it's not a SHO, and I know money is scarce everywhere, but we've decided to
sell the Crown Vic. It's been a great car, but it's been mostly sitting, and there
isn't much of a future for it around here. Before I put it on AutoTrader.com, I
though I'd ask if anyone was interested. It's black with tan cloth interior. No
rust. Has Bilstein shocks. It has newish 'H' rated Michelin Pilots. They have
about 5K miles on them.
You can see it at....
www.krazgeo.com/CrownVic
It is an LX, and has about 59,000 miles on it now, and is still under the factory
warranty (6Yr/100K miles). That will run out in February.....pretty quick, but it
has had no problems anyway. It has an aftermarket stereo system that I will leave
in, except for the 50-CD changer....those are too rare. It has a brand spanking new
Premier deck in the dash that will play MP3 and WMA files, as well as CD-Rs and RWs,
and has XM radio capability. The speakers are M-B Quarts, and are components in
the doors....tweeters are separate, and are mounted very nicely in the door panels
above the door handles. They look factory, but sound 10 times better. It has an
Alpine amp, I think....been too long. It has no subwoofer, as I never got around to
that.
It has all the factory options that were available, but no moonroof. The tranny has
been flushed, and works fine...the engine is fine...gets 25 mpg at cruise on the
flat at 75 mph with recommended 5-20 oil.
We just don't need it anymore....the Lexi are doing the family hauling.
Let me know soon if you want it, because in a couple of days I want to put it on
AutoTrader to get it on its way.
Asking $8,300...because KBB says $8,100, plus it has an excellent sound system and
Code-Alarm added. Lots of professional work went into the dash to get the deck
installed up there.
