[Shotimes] Cold Starts

Now these are the symptoms I experienced when my CID went bad. Cold
starts were great, warm starts gave me fits. When it did finally
start it would idle a bit lopey for a few seconds and then smooth out.
Alan, there's a DTC 214 for the CID but it doesn't always show up as a
CE light. If your CID is original (or old) you may want to look into
it as a possible culprit.
I know this has nothing to do with pushing the accelerator to start
the engine, but sometimes it's just human nature to floor it if the
car doesn't start immediately. People sometimes think it must be a
injector problem when really the car would've started (eventually)
without depressing the pedal. I did this same thing when my CID was
failing.
Take care,
