[Shotimes] T'stat o-ring p/n?

Alan;
It's a very unusual type o-ring. It's almost square in cross-section. And it
has a split on the inside because it actually wraps around the rim on the
t-stat to seal both sides.Failure is probably indicative of dissimiilar
metal corrosion. I'd make sure you are keeping your antifreeze fresh. I
believe mine was a fel-pro, came in the overhaul kit.
