For a pure plug job, it works fine.

If you want to replace wires, the intake needs to come off, as the boots
don't fit under it....assuming that you want to route the wires in the stock
location.

If the boots have "welded" themselves in, they are tough to remove with the
intake on.

Personally, for plug changes every 60-100K, changing the wires isn't a bad
idea, and it's a good time to clean the intake.
