[Shotimes] SHO is making grinding noises

Um, try making sure that the rotor dust shield isn't coming into contact 
with the rotor. I did that when I changed my struts, banged the dust 
shield into the rotor and it made the world's worst scraping sound... 
brakes on or off. Sounds a lot like what you're going through.
