AC? I'm thinking autolamps. Was this the wrong sensor for that?

Why would you want to do that? Is your AC too jumpy and pumps out air 
hard all the time? Because that's about the only reason I can think of 
to do that, and if it's doing that, I'd just replace the sensor... but 
yes, technically you could. It would make the car think it's not as 
sunny out and the AC wouldn't blow as hard.
