Having purchased an off-lease 2001 LS V8 with the sport package and SST, I
can say it has been a phenomenal car. It is built like a rock and has
required nothing other than than routine maintenance. Driver comfort is
unsurpassed, it still feels new after 62,000 miles, and the options list is
amazing. Rain sensing wipers! Dual heated power seats! Goodies galore
abound. No squeaks or rattles whatsoever. Very few flaws... my only gripe
is really the wind noise on the highway is more than you would expect. It
does suck in snow, but here in Philly that might be 5 days out of 364. In a
year or two I may buy a newer one with DVD navigation or maybe a used
Jaguar XJ8.
