[Shotimes] Can i change my valve guides myself?

You should (most likely) have the valve seats
machined. There are also some tricks which include
heating up the guides to assist in removal and
installation. FWIW, my shop said that my bronze guides
went in really easily and not much of the seat had to
be machined. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten
oversized valves. I've learned quite a bit about head
work in the past 2 weeks. :)
