[Shotimes] Putting my engine back together, what do I need to remember?

I bought an engine off of eBay to replace the defunct engine in my 1990. I
finally tore it down to it's undies. er, shortblock. I just plastigauged,
greased and installed new rod/cap bearings, and now I am cleaning the
outside to paint. That is the only work I've done to the shortblock. I'm
going to replace all the seals and gaskets (already purchased via RCM
Automotive), but as I put it back together again in stages, I am super
fearful of missing something, and I don't want to have to take it apart
in-car. Is there certain steps I can follow that should lead me clear? This
is what I understand so far:

1. Rod/Cap bearings (done)
2. Paint (in process, not important).
3. Replace front main and reinstall oil pump and timing belt guide.
4. Replace rear main seal.
5. Replace crank position sensor.
6. Clean cylinders.
7. Prep heads for head gaskets.
8. Install heads and gaskets.
9. Replace oil plug well seals.
10. Install lower intake gaskets.
11. Install intake. (already reassembled).
12. Attach hoses.

Not super comprehensive, but if I am missing something or need a more
elaborate understanding I am all ears! Thanks everyone!
