It does suck,  I'm not freaked out about the whole thing,  the car just needs to go to someone else who is going to take care of it.
 
I haven't driving the car for at least 5 months,  since i live within walking distance of the job and everything else important.
 
Ian posted something in reply about feeling violated,  well,  thats very true.  you spend a good deal of your life working for something, making it nice,  enjoying it,  until some loser comes around and screws with it.   I'm just tired of having to worry about the car every day,  and i could use the money for some plane tickets back to massachusetts (where im from) or something to see my folks,  or pay some bills.
 
Your right,  i am going to regret it,  but more on a sentimental level than anything else.  I bought the car in '99 and had it on the road ever since january when the tags expired.  I didn't have any money to spend on getting the new y-pipe in,  so it just sat at my apartment until now... when it was broken into.
 
Turns out the inside triangle window bezel that flew across the car when they busted out the window,  is intact, as well as pretty much the entire interior.  It's a black leather / cloth combo,  and i forgot to mention the indiglo white face gauges.
 
Thanks for all your support guys,  this is the first time anything like this has happened to me.
