[Shotimes] Bumper Sticker & bodywork

Saw a good one yesterday in my work parking lot.  Seems to apply  pretty well 
to this list:
 
"Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Junk"  
 
Now here's a question.  I've got the proverbial rust by the bottom of  the 
gas filler door area and almost out to the rim of the  wheelwell.  Anyone done 
this bodywork & have any hints for the best way  to rebuild that area?
 
No, DON"T tell me to get that bumper sticker and slap it over the  rust  ;-0
