[Shotimes] removing the oil pump

There are mounting dowels I believe that can offer a bit of resistance. I
usually place a screwdriver at the very egde and tap it with a hammer
lightly to get it starting to separate. The outter edge down near the pan
has losts of gasket so if you mar it up a littl you will still get a good
seal. Once it gets moving it will come off pretty easy.

Once the bolts and timing sprocket are removed, it needs to be pried off.
Carefully so that you don't gouge anything up. If you don't care about the
block, it's a little easier. Just make sure you don't gouge up the pump. I
use screw drivers to carefully pry it off of the block but that may not be
the agreed upon method. You may need to use some force but apply it
smoothly. (as opposed to stabbing around the housing)
