Way back when, my brand new 90 was less than a week old and it had a brake
problem. I was a couple of miles from home one morning and the brake pedal
went to the floor. There was a tiny bit of brake but not much, just enough
to allow you to actually drive the car if you were very careful. I turned
around and headed for the dealer. I parked the car in their drive and told
the service writer about my problem. He said OK and that they would call
me. As I walked off I watched him and he just sat in his little office. I
went back and told him that he didn't understand- he needed to put a sign on
the car or something, or else the first kid that got in the car to pull it
around back would drive it through the side of their building. He finally
got the message. I had owned the car less than a week. The dealer kept it
over a week to fix it. After I bugged them numerous times they finally said
they pulled parts off of another car in stock to fix it, but they never told
me what the problem was.
