I used to have a locomotive horn that had five horns. It needed a 1/2" Pipe
to supply sufficient air at 90PSI to "light" all five horns. It will drain
your tank before the horns will even reach half volume.

Subject: [Shotimes] removal of air box for a new toy!

Next week I am going to purchase an actual train horn to mount on my SHO.
The airtank and compressor are going in the trunk, but the 3 horns are going

under the hood. The dimensions of the horn are 16x14x10, and i was wondering

if by removing the airbox resonator where the silencer cone is located would

give me enough room to mount this. (I will probablly also be taking out some

of the wheel well if more room is needed.

In replace of the airbox, i am going to try the ram air insturctions in the
FAQ on SHOtimes.

do you guys think that this will work??

once the horn is on, i will throw up a video and sound clips on the internet

for all to see!
