Anthony:
 The low fuel light is turned on by the fuel level sensor in the gas tank.
ALL Taurus/Sable /SHO use the exact same sensor, regardless of the fuel tank
size. So the SHO has the light turned on much earlier than the standard
Taurus. Some people have stated this is to allow a larger reserve of fuel in
the tank to protect the fuel pump from over heating.
 So I don't see any way the SCT could have any effect on this.
