Pete,

Let us know what it ends up being. I posted here a while ago with a very
similar problem, and opening the hood for air flow and letting the car sit
for about 45 minutes or so definitely helped. Haven't had the chance to work
on the car or take it in to the shop since, (it's basically been garaged
while I've been driving my wife's Chevy Caprice), but one of the things that
was suggested to me by some of the other guys on this list as a possible
culprit was the crank sensor, so I'd be curious to see what ends up being
the problem with yours.

Best of Luck!

-Marc

Subject: [Shotimes] SHO Leaves Me Stranded Today

Hey Guys... just got dropped off by the dealership
courtesy van. My SHO, a 95 MTX with 85,000 miles on it
has been dieing when hot AFTER a shut down. I'm in
sales, and today it died in an exit from a shopping
mall. Thanks to the list, I knew what to do. I lifted
the hood to allow air flow to the engine compartment,
and wait 1 hour. She started up, and I drove her to
the dealer. She's still on warantee, so I don't care
about the bill... but I did tell the dealership, I
think it's the crank position sensor. What do you guys
think? Thanks.
