Brown smoke is from an over-rich situation. If you ever watch old Hawaai
Five-O shows, those old big-block Galaxies from the sixties would pour out
black smoke when floored!
Oil burns blue or bluish-white. A little oil makes a lot of smoke. If you
were burning enough to go thru a quart in 750 miles, you would have a blue
smoke screen following you around most of the time. (I had one of those
once). I still vote for an oil leak. On the SHO some of them are hard to
find., especially when the oil drips on the cats.
