Um, 

I wore a disc out once on the 93.  Clutch would slip under
acceleration.  Didn't measure the disc, but with it slipping that
sounds like a worn out disc to me.

Now I still have slipping issues at high RPM shifts with a stock
clutch, but non-stock motor.

But yes, one can wear out a disc, especially with a lot of hard launches.
