[Shotimes] Now I'm really screwed....speeding

Another thing you can look into is getting a deferral. I got a moving
violation (turning right on a no turn on red). I was riding my motorcycle
at the time. Light would not change. Still don't know where the trooper was
hiding. After talking to the prosecutor, I was able to just pay a small fine
and not have to go to court. Also, they will keep it off my record if I
keep my nose clean for 12 months. I paid the fine and got the deferral. In
the long run, was cheaper this way instead of paying a ticket and court
cost, plus increased premium for insurance as well as having points on the
license. You might want to see about that as well. This way nobody will
know about it except you and all us members here. Your insurance will never
here about it and your record will not show it as well.

Hope it helps

Michael,

You should visit the National Motorists Association web site
and do some reading. order their package to help fight
tickets and read it right away.

These people have good ideas and can help you through the
court process.

You should check with an attorney that is well schooled and
practiced in traffic court law. IF your record is real
clean, you can see if you can get court supervision.

Sometimes you want to fight the ticket, other times it is
best to go in with your attitude well in check and ask for
leiniency. What ever will get you the least fine and or
insurance points.

You need to know your plan before you go to court.
Sometimes you can contact the district attorney in charge
and get the court supervision and not have to go to court.
If they get a fine and a "conviction" even if it may not
stay on your record after the supervision, they are happy,
and they can cut down on time wasted in court.

But if you go in and fight it, chances are you won't have a
chance later to play nice and ask for a break.

again, get the NMA stuff!
