Chris,

The cost and bother of changing over the driveline and 
wiring, computer etc would be pretty expensive and time 
consuming for questionable results.

Better to just sell the MTX, and buy an ATX.  IN the long 
run, you will be better off by far.

As for the lighting, I am not sure.  Maybe just tint the 
bulbs?  It would take a lot to change the entire method of 
lighting and the gauges, but then I am not anywhere near an 
expert in the field of electronics or electricity, other 
than to know to shut off the power when playing with bare 
wires in the house!  :)
