Huh? Why not just torque the thing down? No problem on an MTX car, a
little trickier on an ATX.
This is one area where Honda has Ford beat. The Honda dampener has a female
hex shape surrounding the crank bolt location, into which one can insert a
special mating tool that can be held with a breaker bar while you torque the
crank bolt up, ATX or MTX, no problem.
