I saw your original post after I sent this...

My car sounded like a front wheel bearing was going. The noise was louder turning left and quieter turning right at low speeds.

Have you checked your CV Joints?

Oh, I just remembered. There is a test with a dial caliper for the front wheel bearings to check runout and wobble. Attatch the caliper stand to the spindle and put the caliper against the hub. Turn the hub. If there is too much wobble (I'd focus on the side the rim was bent on), check for play in the bearing.

Try the Carrier bearing for the intermediate drive-shaft. If that is worn out, the shaft may be wobbling, pushing ever so slightly on the Pass. side knuckle and causing a shake.

Check to see if one of your brake rotors is not sitting properly on the hub. Example: My late '91 Plus has a '90 knuckle/hub assy on the right side. If I put '90 rotors on the front, the left side won't fit flush against the flange but ride up on the hub collar. Unless the lug nuts are tightened exactly evenly, the wheel will wobble, causing the steering sheel to shake. I actually wound up breaking my lugs from that issue (incorrectly boxed rotors). Have someone measure the inner circle of your rotors or put red grease on the inside, install them, remove them, and make sure that the grease is flush all the way around.

I'm running out of ideas....

Dave,

I've checked all front strut rod bushings. They are fine. Have not checked rears yet, though they are TPR and relatively new.

All strut bearings and mounts are new.

Rear hubs are new.

Alignment of car is in spec.

Also, I doubt if any of the problem is in the rear, cause there's only vibration in the steering wheel. There is no vibration in the dashboard or in the seat.
