I have the NEC Ultralite in my office. It was the Institue of Living's (http://www.instituteofliving.org) first laptop.

I've had a few of these items over the years, but I haven't gone back to list them.

I know there are gadget freeks on this list. So can you beat me???

I've had 6 of the gadged on the 100-list:

7. US Robotics Pilot 1000. (Hot, hot...at the time.)
8. Diamond Rio MP3. (Frustrating.)
15. HP-35 calculator. (Probably to most useful tool I ever owned.)
38. SanDisk CF card. (I showed it to everybody.)
50. Etch-a-scetch. (Frustrating.)
89. Rubik's cube. (Did it in 3 1/2min. More competition...:) )

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION:

Since I'm starting the competition, I also set the rules... ;-)

Only include items that were yours in their original form/appearance.

It's OK to have obtained a later version of it as long as the appearance AND functionality of it is identical to the original.

For example, being the owner of a US Robitics Pilot 5000 (it had more memory but looked the same) or a 3Com Palm Pilot (had a lot more memory) doesn't count in lieue of the US Robotics Pilot 1000.
