[Shotimes] price for painting a hood

[Al Fitz]

My body guy charges me $100 per panel which includes clear coat. Now I know
others charge outrageous amounts but this guy does not. He painted several
cars for me and charges me $750 per car. It is a GOOD job, maybe not the best
but better than most.

Those members who have seen my wife's red 95 can tell you it looks good. Also
my green 93 with the shaved door handles came out great.

    Al, depending on the paint, that's damn near impossible.  For example,
    Moonlight Blue is about $90/pint, something like that.

    If you can really get a hood painted for $100, well, that's incredible.
    Sure it's not water color?  :)

    The standard around here is $100 per panel. Hood, fender, quarter panel,
    etc..
