911s started using the speed-sensitive spoiler back in the mid-90s. There
was also an override to keep it up or down. Also useful so cops can't tell
your speed by the spoiler being up (it came up at 70 mph, IIRC)!!

Wow, a polite commercial.  Is that the first time a pop-up spoiler is used
on a production car?  This is different to me than the old Carrera whale
tail that flips up.  Funny thing I was thinking about this sitting behind
a car the other day in that it might be a good idea to hide a spoiler when
driving around traffic.
