My brother had an 86 wagon do that. But it broke both bolts. This
was before the recall, so just imagine how long ago that was... His
wife was driving at the time and we had to do some serious chastising
about her driving :)
His wife called and he ended up limping the car home with no rear
subframe bolts.... Car went on to clock well over 250,000. Now has
a new home, sold for $250. we had it in the family since new...
sniff... sniff... kinda sad.
