Going through my spam filter someone asked me what was wrong with
Autozone............My answer what's NOT wrong with autozone. I had a
"friendly" parts counter person argue with me that My 90 SHO had rear
drum brakes and was not wasting his time looking up rotors and pads for
a car that never had rear disk brakes.............But he did pull me a
set of drums and shoes which I glady bought. Pulled out 4 way and jack
removed the rear tires and went and got Mr parts genius and said how the
F&*( do I get these to go on there? For which he was dumbfounded. Next
Autozone was when the clutch went bad, Mr parts man at another store
agrued with me that the Taurus never came in stick not even the SHO and
the SHO was only an apperance package and nothing else. He was not
looking up a clutch for the simple fact it did not have one. And of
course my Favorite Autozone experience of all. I stopped in there for
throttle body gasket the counter guy said he would have to see the car I
opened the Hood he dropped his jaw and said these exact words to me. You
Might want to try NAPA there is no way I'll be able to get anything to
fit your custom built intake.
