Probably anything but.  When the crank sensor fails it just turns the motor
off, maybe for 1/2 second or maybe for 30 minutes.  With the longer episodes
it may start working again after the car cools a bit.

To me it sounds like plugs, plug wires, coil, whatever.  I haven't heard of
anyone having a coil problem with the SHO but plug wires are definitely
troublesome.
