I must be lucky- I never had any problems pulling the Y-pipe off of my 90.
When doing the 60k, one of the cam tools fell down the oil galley in the
front of the head. I didn't know if it made it into the pan or not so I
pulled the pan. The tool was laying in the bottom of the pan and more than
likely would never have caused a problem.
