Joseph,

Have you called around? I can get a new windshield installed for under $200
here.

There are two ways of removing a windshield in one piece - one uses a thin
wire pulled back and forth using two people and the other uses a L-shaped
knife from the outside. There is a little piece of trim around the glass
that don't want to damage - it's not available as a piece part on the rear
glass, not sure about the front.  It's a lot of work for a novice... Or at
least it was for me and I was just removing a broken one.
