[Shotimes] Keyless Entry

My question to the list is what would make the keyless entry not work all of a sudden?Its on my '92.Last month it started acting crazzy,the light would come on and work in the morning but when I was ready to go home in the afternoon the light didn't come on and I could'nt get in the car.Luckly I had a magnetic key holder with a spare door key.I have to use the key to enter her now.Whats going on??Has anyone had similar occurances?Help Please!!!
