I have a tensioner pulley that I bought a while ago thinking it was an idler
pulley, it's got the dark green band you talk of, it rolls perfect... I
don't think I'm gonna need it. When I get back from sea I'd be willing to
sell it if anybody wants it. I still have those stupid aluminum subframe
bushings I said I was gonna sell to somebody... can't remember who... yell
at me, whoever it is that I was gonna sell them to! I'll be back in port
friday so I can ship 'em shortly after that.

Oh, and getting anything for the engine isn't cheap. Hastles finding parts
are a common occurance on a SHO... you'll either have to get used to it or
get another car... I've heard those subaru WRX STis are pretty damn cool.

I hope that this information can be of some benefit.
Recently my timing belt idler pulley went south on my 94 3.2L SHO
(135Kmiles) also damaging the middle and lower covers. Having just eplaced
the tensioner pulley and TB a few months ago I tried in vein to get a new
F3DZ-6M250-A Ford replacement pulley (NTN 2TS2-DF0716LH bearing with dark
green stripe) with no success. I scowered the internet and did find a few
used sources one of which I purchased but turned out to be a dry bearing. I
received no further replies from the remaining internet sources. No luck at
salvage yards internet or otherwise. What to do, without the pulley my SHO
is KAPUT.
Well after two months of on and off web research I finally found what
appears to be an NEW exact replacement pulley. The pulley is Mfg by Joyku
(part # BT-10526) and I was told by John Hou at Joyku that it was sold to
Nissan. He also sent me a dimensioned drawing and picture and said it would
cost $52 total incl s/h to purchase one (shipped from Tiawan). The drawing
matched up great. I did a bit more research and got a few more details
from www.masterautoparts.com under Nissan (they showed 25 pcs available)

I gave my mechanic this info and he ordered one through Nissan. The part
number on my repair receipt is
13077-F556510
My cost was $82. As for the two TB covers we patched them up as best as
possible. The total cost with a new pulley, TB, patched covers and
serpentine was $500.
My SHO is home now but I am seriously thinking about ending our relationship
before further parts availability drama strikes. Any additional information
on parts availability issues would be appreciated.
Regards,
John Vanchieri
