Mike,

My pure stock '91 ran an almost perfect A/F ratio all the way to almost 
6000 rpm.  IT was uncanny, nearly table flat.  Maybe it was a fluke.  
Too bad I didn't get an A/F meter set-up on my dyno way back when.

Like I said, I still have some tuning to do, and there is an annoying 
tick in the engine, that you thought might be a bad plug wire, maybe I 
should do a hot water spray test to see if that is so.  If there is a 
bad wire, then that would account for a lot, but it sounds more 
mechanical.
