[Shotimes] More alternator questions

Hi all,

My question is how a person can tell which alternator they have before pulling
it.  My '93 ATX is starting to act up and I want to have an alternator in hand
for the weekend so I can have my lovely mechanic install it before he leaves
for a month.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
