That 4 door SVT at Gingerman was very nice! It got around that track pretty
well as well!

I feel that you are off-base on the Focus. The early recall issues are
basically done, and everyone I know that has one loves it. It's a lot of car
for the money, and has an amazing amount of interior room (I had considered
a 4-door SVT prior to getting the LGT).

$62,000 for 2 cars is something to think about. After all, you're getting 2
VWs that should run like spit with zero problems for the next 10 years.
Plus, you could easily sell the Beetle with 50 miles on the odo, for
$16,000, take the $2,000 "loss" and have $16,000 cash money in your pocket.
It's not as if they're offering 2 FoMoCo vehicles - "buy this Lincoln
Navigator and we'll throw in a Focus for free". You will definitely have
problems/recalls with both like - engine/fuel fires, melting electrical
wires, fuel tanks that fall off, warped brake rotors, rusted subframe
bolts.... And, just try selling that Ford Focus....even with 50 miles on
the odo.
