All,

I'm letting go of my 97 SHO that I've had in a storage unit in Oklahoma
City since Mar 2004, right before I left for Korea. She needs a new
tranny and the current one can not be rebuilt. The last time I ran her
was from the storage unit to Ford dealer in OKC. SHO was shifting into
Neutral when coming to a stop and not going back into gear without
turning the car off and restarting. The tranny (its #2) was installed
under extended warranty by Phil Long Ford, Colorado Springs@ 42,000
miles. The car was covered under the extended warranty till 100k and
the tranny failed completely @ 102k. When she was last on the road she
rocked up the on-ramp at over 110 mph like it was cool... engine purrs
like kitten and is still difficult to tell if it's even running.

Many new parts on it due to routine maintenance... she was babied as
much as my mustang - always clean etc. The SHO was my extra car I used
for road trips so it's all highway mileage. I'd like to throw down the
cash to repair the tranny and keep her, but that $3k would be better
spent on a supercharger for my pony.

Any questions/concerns, pics or otherwise feel free to drop me a line or
send an e-mail. The car is in OKC and will be sold/parted or sent to
junk yard from there. I will forward offers to my friend who has a
power of attorney for the vehicle and will handle any final
transactions.
