It is indeed inside the tank but there is another way. If you take the
back seat out of the car and cut through the metal over the fuel pump
(there are a few websites that tell you the dimensions; I can't remember
them) you can just take the fuel pump out the top and not worry about
dropping the fuel tank. That's what I did, and I'm really glad I did.
Plus, it takes like ten minutes to do it every time after that...

Well, my fuel pump went out finally so im about to replace it this
afternoon. I just wanted to ask is it inside the fuel tank like i'm
guessing or outside? I hate dropping the tank and messing with all that
junk but i'm pretty sure i'm going to have to. Just wanted to make sure
before i start.
