I had mine rebuilt locally for $140.  A replacement from Autozone would have been more.  The MTX alternator, while a bit cheaper than the ATX unit, is still about $160 from Autozone.  I'd get a price on a rebuild.

i want to swap in an alternator in my 95 SHO 3.0 motor, since the car is
having electrical problems
is the alternator SHO specific?? Will a 3.2 alt work on a 3.0
Any other cars use the same alternator as the sho? Or is this once again
another one of fords great ideas and
make it SHO specific
