OMG When are we going to be able to quit praying for all these poor people and this vicious cycle end?? I heard today that the Hurricane "Season" doesn't end until NOVEMBER 30TH!!! That is over a month away. I've never felt for so many for so long since I was in a flash flood in Rapid City on June 9th 1972 when 263 people were swept out of their homes in less than 8 hours and 24 inches of rain fell on the Black Hills. I had always thought tornadoes were scarey but man hurricans make wimp out of them.

I'm praying and praying and praying.... Thanks for the update Ron, I hadn't heard this little tidbit, but I am "interested". And I'm crazy for living in "earthquake country"??? I have lived 56 1/2 years without this kind of "hurricane" season hitting any place on earth so hard and so long and so intensely and it is almost scarey at times. I hope all obey the warnings and take cover when advised and I will be praying. I think it's the only thing we can do to help.

FYI,

882 millibars coverts to a barometer reading of 26.05!!
FWIW here's a useful converter that has a Pressure conversion table, among
other things:
