Are you saying the disconnection is at the transmission bracket, which bolts to the
tranny, or under the shifter, which is in the console?  There are rubber O rings
which wear at the tranny bracket, which are obtainable at NAPA or any other parts
store.  The clip Kerby is talking about goes in the bottom of the shifter, in the
console.  
The part number is MOPAR part 04340118.

I haven't seen how this clip goes in and does the job, but I know it does, because I
gave the number to a friend of mine who is not mechanically inclined, who I sold a
SHO to, and he was able to fix it, after trying a couple of times.
