   I just measured the inside diameter at the end of the cable and the outside diameter of the post on the transmission, then got a nut with the appropriate dimensions at Ace.  I also picked up an appropriately sized E-clip.  Had to pinch it a bit to get it to stay on, but it's worked well on two different 89's after the factory bushing decided to take a vacation.
