[Shotimes] alternators

While on vacation in Newport Beach Ca. a couple of years ago, my ATX's
alternator went out. $320. plus tax from a Ford dealer on Harbor Blvd. That's
the only place I could find one and I must have called a zillion parts
houses.

  ATX and MTX alternators are not interchangable. I
  haven't priced them out so I can't say that you were
  ripped off or not but you wouldn't be able to use an
  MTX alt on your ATX.
