Keep in mind that dealers are independent businessman, and are not really tied to the factory. Good service is from the quality of the dealership. I'm sure that anyone who owns a few dealerships has the same quality of service across all of the makes they sell.....be that good, bad, or indifferent.
 
Also keep in mind that the techs are transient. The tech that gave you lousy service at dealer "X" may then have moved to dealer "Y" for the next car you buy.
 
FWIW, as a whole, Ford dealerships have done fine by me versus other makes that I have owned.
